Big news from Sun-Kissed Mountain Homestead — our sweet girl Sapphire is officially pregnant! After a cozy summer full of sunshine, naps, and extra treats, her ultrasound confirmed what we were all hoping for: four tiny puppies on the way!
Watching that little screen flicker with four strong heartbeats was nothing short of magical. Sapphire sat patiently (and proudly) through the appointment, as if she already knew she was carrying something special.
Our vet has scheduled her X-ray for October 27th, which will help us get a closer look — we’ll be able to estimate her due date and maybe even get a hint at how many little boys and girls will be joining us. If all goes as expected, we’ll be welcoming the litter the first week of November!
Sapphire has been glowing lately — calm, affectionate, and always looking for a gentle belly rub. Zeus, ever the doting dad, seems to sense what’s coming too. He’s been more playful than usual, sticking close to Sapphire like her furry shadow.
