The Couple Behind the Coop
We’re a couple with a shared love for simple living, good food, and the rhythm of life in the mountains. Together, we care for our animals, grow what we can, and pour our hearts into building Sun-Kissed Mountain Homestead — one sunrise, one project, and one adventure at a time.

Darth & Saber
Darth and Saber are our stealthy barn companions — part hunters, part nappers, and full-time charmers. They keep watch over the hay and happily patrol for mice before curling up in the warmest corner they can find. Mischievous yet loyal, they add just the right touch of mystery to the homestead.

The Heart of the Herd
Calm eyes, quick paws, and a heart full of purpose — our shepherd watches over the homestead with quiet devotion, ensuring every feather and hoof stays safe.

The Flock
Our lively flock of sixteen chickens (including three proud roosters) keeps the homestead buzzing from sunrise to sunset. They’re the heartbeat of our mornings — scratching, chatting, and providing the fresh eggs we’re so grateful for. Each one has its own personality, and together they make the yard feel alive.

Zeus
Zeus is our resident goofball — full of love, energy, and personality. He’s never met a stranger and brings joy to everyone he meets. With his bright eyes and playful spirit, he’s the perfect balance of charm and mischief.

Cookies & Cream
Cream, our sweet and steady mama goat, keeps a gentle eye on her curious little one, Cookies — who’s as playful as they come. Cookies bounces from rock to rock, always ready to test her limits or sneak a nibble of anything within reach. Together, they bring laughter, milk, and endless entertainment to our days.

Sapphire
Sapphire is a beautiful, even-tempered Pomsky and an expectant first-time mom. She’s affectionate, steady, and has shown wonderful maternal instincts already. We’re excited to welcome her first litter this fall.

Mattis
Mattis is the wise old soul of the homestead — more interested in naps and sunshine than playtime these days. He keeps a watchful eye on everyone, reminding us to slow down and enjoy the little things.
