At just 8 weeks old, Sapphire the Pomsky bounded into our lives. She quickly became the spark that showed us how much joy this breed could bring.

The Chickens Move In
What started with “just a few hens” turned into a growing flock of 16 and counting. Fresh eggs on the table reminded us how good home-raised food really is.
2024 Onward
The Call to Self-Sufficiency
With chickens thriving and our Pomsky crew keeping us busy, we decided it was time to go deeper into homesteading. From food to animals to daily rhythms, we’ve been building a life rooted in self-reliance and care.
April 2025
Zeus Joins the Pack
Our playful boy Zeus joined the family, adding more paws, energy, and laughter to the homestead. He and Sapphire became fast friends and partners in mischief.

About Our Homestead
At Sun-Kissed Mountain Homestead, we’re just a couple of everyday folks raising our family, our animals, and a little patch of land in the mountains of Northwest Montana. What started as a desire to eat better and live more simply has turned into a small homestead where we collect fresh eggs each morning and raise Pomsky puppies in a loving, family-centered environment.
We believe in keeping things real—healthy animals, honest food, and practices that put care before convenience. Around here, our chickens roam, our dogs play, and every pup we raise is treated like part of the family before heading off to their forever home. We’re not fancy, just hardworking neighbors who love sharing what we grow, raise, and learn along the way.
